Epic Games has announced via the in-game news feed that the Infantry Rifle weapon in Fortnite will be receiving Epic and Legendary variants!
With the Wednesday, April 17th Item Shop update, the message of the day was updated showing the Infantry Rifle with the golden, Legendary background.
The announcement says that the Infantry Rifle will be receiving two upgraded variants, along with the tagline “Precision is rewarded”.

Precision is rewarded with the new Epic and Legendary VARIANTS of the Infantry Rifle!
Thanks to previously leaked assets from early March 2019, we have an idea of what to expect in terms of statistics for the weapons.
