Epic have delayed some changes that were being made to the Baller vehicle.
Epic Games have been adding new items to Fortnite Battle Royale on a weekly basis and one of the items that have been added this season is The Baller vehicle, which was released in the v8.10 update.
The Baller vehicle can only hold one player at a time and can be found at Expedition Outposts and around the pirate camp loot stashes. You can use the Grappler and Boost functionality to pull yourself up cliffs or swing through the trees. One of the controversial aspects of the vehicle is that the driver is protected from any damage, but The Baller has 300 health and can be destroyed by enemies.
Since its release, it was temporarily disabled by Epic due to some stability issues, with a lot of players also reporting deaths when they had exited the vehicle. It was quickly re-enabled and has been in the game since.
Epic had announced in the v8.20 update that changes would be made to the Baller which would allow enemies to be able to shoot the driver through the glass of the vehicle. It was scheduled to be released in the v8.30 update, but Sean Hamilton, Community Coordinator at Epic Games, has announced on the FortNiteBR subreddit that the changes will not be implemented in the v8.30 update, but should be added soon.

In the v8.20 Patch Notes, we mentioned that we’d be making an adjustment that allows players to shoot through the glass of The Baller. This functionality won’t be in the v8.30 update that releases later this week We’re still polishing this change and will get it to you as soon as it’s ready!. Keep an eye on Patch Notes though, it’ll be ready in the near future.
