Here’s where to find and destroy Fortnite Snowflake decorations on the map for the Winterfest challenge in chapter 2.
It’s day 12 of the Fortnite Winterfest event. That means as usual, there’s a weapon or item being unvaulted, a returning LTM and a brand new challenge, which upon completion, will grant players with a free cosmetic reward.
Today’s challenge requires players to destroy snowflake decorations that are discovered around the Fortnite map. Upon completing the challenge, players will be rewarded with the Snow Crystal back bling. You can take a look at the Snow Crystal back bling reward below:

Where to find and destroy snowflake decorations
We had a similar Christmas challenge for last years 14 days of Fortnite event where players need to destroy snowflake decorations. However, it seems as though the snowflakes were much larger making them much easier to spot. This year in chapter 2, from the decorations I’ve seen, they look far smaller than last years decorations.
It won’t be hard to find Snowflake decorations as you’ll find them in pretty much every single named location that’s on the map. For example, if you head to Holly Hedges on the map, you’ll find snowflake decorations hanging on the ‘Garden Center’, which is the large building in the middle of the location as seen below:
In order to destroy them, you can either pickaxe them, or you can use a weapon and shoot them. In order to complete the challenge, you’ll need to destroy three snowflakes.
There’s not really a need to create a map for the locations as you’ll find them everywhere. However, if you want, simply head to Holly Hedges at go to the Garden Center in order to find Snowflakes and destroy them.
In my opinion, the Snow Crystal back bling is one of the best rewards you can get from the Winterfest challenges, and I’m sure many people think the same.
