Star Wars X Fortnite 2 is coming. Here are the cosmetics we hope to see accompany the crossover.

Over the weekend, we got confirmation that Fortnite will be screening an exclusive scene from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in Risky Reels on December 14. The screening probably won’t be the only crossover piece, however, as fans hope to see more Star Wars cosmetics come to Fortnite.

Data miner @Hypex has planted his flag in the ‘we will get more Star Wars cosmetics’ camp due to the ‘Original Trilogy’ moniker on the Storm Trooper skin. We can only hope that he is correct.

It would make sense for Epic to add more Star Wars cosmetics to Fortnite. We’ve seen skins from John Wick, The Avengers, and Batman in the past. Star Wars is arguably bigger than all three franchises.

So, it’s speculation time. Let’s take a look at some of the Star Wars cosmetics we’d love to see in Fortnite.

Our favorite characters

There are several Star Wars characters we’d like to see come to the game with the second crossover event If speculation is correct, we’re nearly sure to get at least one of them. Rey is the new lead in the Star Wars universe, which means she’s one of the characters that’s more likely to get her own skin in the game.

That doesn’t mean she’s the most requested character, though. Kylo Ren is her opposite and would probably make for a better in-game skin. You could use him with or without his helmet, for instance. A Kylo Ren skin would probably also include a cape, which is a popular back bling style.

Luke Skywalker is another likely candidate for a Fortnite skin. Here’s one concept of a skin set that would include everyone’s favorite Jedi.

Luke also presents the opportunity to create two skins – one of the young Luke and one of the old. If not, we could see selectable styles for him.

Of course, there are other characters like Darth Vader, Obi-Wan, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. These options are probably less likely than Luke, Rey, and Kylo Ren since they aren’t as relevant in the upcoming film.

Lightsaber Pickaxe

A lightsaber pickaxe is a must for the next Fortnite X Star Wars crossover. It feels like Epic needs to introduce a Jedi or Sith to wield these pickaxes, which is why we didn’t see one when the Storm Trooper came out.

Lightsabers could come in multiple styles with selectable colors as well. Out of all of the desired Star Wars cosmetics, this has to be one of the most realistic requests.

Baby Yoda Backbling

Baby Yoda has to be the hottest meme on the internet since The Mandalorian came out on Disney+. Each week presents a new meme-able scene featuring the internet’s favorite 50-year-old baby.

Fortnite will be promoting the new Star Wars film rather than the TV show, but that doesn’t mean they won’t include a shout-out to Baby Yoda.

If we know anything about Epic Games, we know that they love to lean into the memes. A Baby Yoda skin would fit perfectly into this theme.

If we don’t get a Baby Yoda, it would at least be fun to see the real Yoda in the game. He could cling onto your back and provide some trademark banter when you get kills – similar to the pets and the Fish Food back bling.
