Fortnite keeps on getting new items added to its reserves and the next one has now appeared on the game’s News page. The ‘Storm Flip’ is heading to Fortnite in the next patch.
The next Fortnite patch, v9.20, will hit players’ clients at some point during the June 3rd week. The patch’s content have been mostly secret until now.
A News page update on Fortnite’s main login screen has revealed the new ‘Storm Flip’ item.
Storm Flip Item coming to Fortnite
On June 3rd, Epic Games updated the Fortnite News page with a new upcoming item. The name of the new item or mechanic is the ‘Storm Flip’.
The description of the news reveal states only a tagline for the new item. “Unleash the storm or tame it! The choice is yours!”
No specifics have been released about the mechanics of the item at this time. Obviously, it has something to do with the Storm and something with the combination of two choices. We’ll let you know as we get more details on the item.
Recently, some Storm related concepts have been circulating the FortniteBR subreddit. These concepts have included ideas like allowing players to run in the storm without taking damage for a small time, allowing you to move faster in the storm, and more.
You can expect the Storm Flip item to release as part of the v9.20 patch.
