Everything you need to know about the Uncharted x Fortnite treasure map including where to find it and what it does.
We’ve known for more than a week that there would be a Fortnite x Uncharted collaborations thanks to data-miners leaking it ahead of time. Epic then set up a teaser site where players needed to unlock the reveal of the latest collaboration.
The Uncharted skins were in the item shop last night for the first time. They’ll likely be available to purchase for at least a week. Due to the nature of the collaboration, it’s likely the skins will be in the shop before the season ends.
Along with the cosmetics, there’s an Uncharted Drake’s Fortnite treasure map available in-game. It was added today and players are wondering where they can find one and how it works. Here’s a quick lowdown.
Where to Get Drakes Treasure Map in Fortnite
In order to find and get the Uncharted Drake’s Fortnite treasure map, you’ll need to either look around for it as floor loot, or you’ll be able to get them from chests. Unfortunately, there is no specific location where they’ll spawn on the chapter 3 season 1 map. If there’s any new information regarding a specific location where there’s a higher chance to find them, we’ll update this section.
How to use the Fortnite Treasure Map
If you manage to get your hands on a treasure map, you’ll want to select it so it’s in your hand. If you’re in a building, go outside and look around until you see a golden beam as seen in the image below:
You’ll also get a trail to make it easier to know where you’re going:
Once you get to the gold glow, you’ll find an “X” on the floor. Pickaxe away at the cross and you’ll dig up a chest. Search the chest and you’ll get a bunch of items including legendary items and weapons.
