Gamora is one of the members of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Other members have already made it into Fortnite such as Star-Lord, Rocket Racoon, and Groot. Now it’s time for one of the strongest and cunning members of the motley crew to make her Fortnite debut.
It seems that Gamora is going to be more than just another crossover skin. Fortnite teased her arrival with a comic panel. While piloting a spacecraft, Gamora received an incoming distress signal. The signal came from an individual claiming that they were under attack by aliens. And as we know, an alien invasion is taking place on The Island.
How to get the Gamora Fortnite skin
Gamora isn’t a part of the Battle Pass or Crew Pack, but there is more than one way to obtain the skin. The first is by purchasing her in the Item Shop. She won’t appear in the Item Shop until August 14 at 8 PM EST. Players will be able to purchase the Gamora Fortnite skin as well as her Godslayer Pickaxe and Godslayer Glide Board.
The second way to obtain the Gamora Fortnite skin is by competing in the Gamora Cup on August 11. The Duo Cup will last 3 hours, and the top placing teams from each region will be rewarded with the Gamora skin. Additionally, every player who earns at least 8 points will earn the Daughter of Thanos Spray.
When Gamora comes to the Item Shop, she won’t be alone. Star-Lord, the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, will also be available to purchase. It’s been over two years since his last Item Shop appearance, so now is the best time to grab him.
