Epic Games have released a new Fortnite update today on April 6th, 2021. Here are the patch notes.
Since Epic Games launched Fortnite chapter 2 season 6, we have had one major new Fortnite update, v16.10. The update was released on this day last week and introduced raptors to the game along with the Spire Fortnite challenges.
We’ve also seen some small map changes to some of the locations which seems to be part of the storyline for the season, but more on that in another post further down the line.
We have a brand new Fortnite update today that has rolled out on all platforms. It seems like the update is less than 500 MB on all platforms. For those that are wondering, here are the Fortnite patch notes for the update today.
Recycler Fortnite Gun and where and how to get it
The Recycler weapon/gun was leaked last week during downtime for the v16.10 Fortnite update. The new Fortnite gun comes in three different rarities, rare, epic, and legendary. The Recycler can harvest objects for ammo, then spit out the densely packed projectiles of junk.
The weapon has a reload time of two seconds across each rarity as well as a magazine size of three. However, the difference between each is the damage to a player with the rare version dealing 75 damage to players, 79 with the epic version, and 83 with the legendary version.
If you’re wondering how to get it, it looks like you can get it in the normal loot pool from chests, or on the floor. Here’s a look at the weapon in action:
Epic Game also included some bug fixes in the update including fixing issues with the Spire Fortnite challenges for Tarana and Raz.
