Epic Games released the Kratos Fortnite skin last week after a teaser was posted on the PlayStation Twitter account. The Kratos bundle was decrypted a couple of hours before it was available in the item shop, and Epic accidentally placed the Master Chief Halo skin in there.
That meant data-miners could post a high quality image of the upcoming Halo skin, confirming rumors that a Masterchief bundle would be coming to Fortnite. The skin entered the item shop at 2 AM GMT (9 PM ET) just before the official announcement at the Game Awards show.

Epic also announced that Daryl Dixon and Michonne would be coming to Fortnite next week, and we’ll likely see a number of other collaborations coming to the game on a weekly basis.
When the Kratos skin was released, PlayStation 5 players could get a free skin style by playing a game. There’s a Fortnite Master Chief Matte Black skin style and here’s how to get your hands on it.
