New challenges are released every week in Fortnite Battle Royale and the Week 5 Challenges are now available. Here are the seven challenges that are live now.
A new set of challenges are released every week in Fortnite Battle Royale and there are a total of seven to be completed and upon completion, players are granted 35,000 XP. The XP helps to level up this Seasons Battle Pass to unlock exclusive cosmetics.
We are now in Week 5 of Chapter 2, Season 3, and the challenges for this week have been released and are now available to complete in-game. The challenges this week are fairly straight forward and should be quite easy to complete and you can see what these challenges are below.
Fortnite Week 5 Challenges
The following challenges can now be completed in-game. We have created a guide on where you can find the Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks, so if you need any help, you can click on the challenge below:
- Search Chest at Sweaty Sands (7)
- Eliminations at Retail Row (3)
- Use a Firefly Jar or Flare Gun at Misty Meadows (1)
- Land at The Yacht and finish top 25 (1)
- Catch fish at Craggy Cliffs (5)
- Upgrade a weapon at Salty Springs (1)
- Collect Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks (4)
The Firefly Jar was leaked by dataminers when it was added in the v13.00 update and has been in the game for a couple of weeks now. The Flare Gun was also leaked from the v13.00 files, but was added to the game in v13.20. When new items are added to the game, you can expect to see at least one challenge where you will be required to use them.
There is also a new challenge available for the Brella Glider unlocked at Level 5 of the Battle Pass. At Level 75, you can choose which Bottom Cap you want to choose for the Glider. You can customize the color of this once you have complete the new challenge that has just been released for it, which is to survive 50 Storm Phases. Upon completion, you can customize the color of the Bottle Cap to whatever color you like.
