Fortnite data miners have found some interesting emotes in the game files.
Epic has been taking a few different directions with recent Fortnite emotes. We’re now getting real music in the game – whether it’s made specifically for Fortnite or not.
The biggest milestone in the Fortnite emote realm has to be the addition of ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ by Rick Astley. This is a classic meme that makes for an excellent emote.
Epic also announced that they’d be adding a feature with v12.00 that would allow content creators to disable licensed music. That way, they can avoid any copyright claims on their videos.
With the release of Fortnite Season 2, Epic added some emotes to the game files that we’ve never seen before. These are called ‘Shout’ emotes, and they’re just that.
We have some big moments from the world of Fortnite along with a few classic memes. It will be interesting to see if any physical cues will be included with them. Here are all of the leaked ‘Shout’ emotes so far.
“Bow down to Bugha” is going to be a great one, along with the Leeroy Jenkins meme. What’s more exciting, though, is what Epic does from here.
I don’t know about you, but there’s one thing that jumped to the front of my mind when I heard about these emotes… “The ____ did you say to me, you little ____?”
