Following Ninja’s very own Fortnite skin being added to the game as part of the Icon Series, next up is Pokimane, with her own emote, releasing on January 19.

Epic Games finally seems to be waking up to the opportunity of adding cosmetics inspired by the game’s biggest content creators.

As the most-followed female streamer in the world, Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys was previously best known for League of Legends.

The Icon Series pays tribute to some of the game’s most influential content creators.

But, when Fortnite took over Twitch in 2018, Poki was at the forefront of the new trend, alongside the likes of Ninja and Myth.

In recognition of their contribution to Fortnite’s success, Epic is rewarding these streamers with their own custom in-game items.

Pokimane’s very own emote is also helping to promote the new Boogie Down contest, now named the Emote Royale. Epic have also partnered with TikTok to make it happen.

So it’s no surprise that Pokimane’s emote is her very own TikTok-style dance.

Unlike Ninja, there’s no Pokimane skin, unfortunately, for now it’s just the emote. It’s unknown if any other creators will get a full-blown skin, as Epic could opt to reserve that honor exclusively for him.

When is the Poki emote available in Fortnite?

If you want to be able to show off the Pokimane dance, it will be available in-game on January 19 at 4PM PT / 7PM ET / 12AM GMT.

The Emote Royale contest has already started though, and will only run until January 24, at 11:59PM PST.

This means you only have a few more days to enter if you want your chance to be alongside Pokimane with your very own emote.
