The 14 Days of Fortnite event officially ended at 2PM UTC today but the wrong end date for the challenges was given to players and Epic are compensating players.

The 14 Days of Fortnite event has officially ended and Epic are providing players with compensation for providing the wrong end date for the event.

Although the event started 14 days ago and today was officially the final day, an Epic employee mentioned on Reddit that the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges will still be available to complete until the 3rd or 4th of January. This however wasn’t the case and the challenges couldn’t be completed after 2PM UTC. Many players didn’t have time to complete all of the challenges in the holiday period  and were upset the challenges had been removed from the game.

Epic addressed this issue on Twitter stating that in order to make up for this issue, players that completed at least one 14 Days of Fortnite event challenge will be granted the Equalizer Glider. The players who are eligible will receive their glider in the near future.

The Equalizer Glider is a rare glider that was rewarded to players who completed the final 14 Days of Fortnite challenge, searching 14 chests. Players who didn’t complete some of the other challenges won’t get a chance to earn the other rewards.
